This is the official Pink Tentacle Monster model sheet. What I had forgotten to included was a size chart comparing Xixa next to Pink. Xixa stands about the height of an average gal: 5'4" and Pink 'stands' a little over six feet.

*Caution, long description ahead*

The tentacle monsters of Xylem are the only other sentient life form that evolved along side the plant people on the planet. They are all not pink. They can be almost any color; Pink just happens to be pink. The tentacle monsters evolved from single celled, amoeba, squid-like creatures, in the vast and nutrient rich oceans of the planet. They are amphibious as well. The tentacle monsters are able to exists in the oceans and in the thick spore-like atmosphere of Xylem. Being single celled in natured that translates to single celled brains, and thus they have a simple tribe society.

The Tentacle Monsters of Xylem aren't stupid as such, just very simple in their ways and as well as their thought processes. Their behaviors completely contrast the more complicated and human behaviors of plant people of Xylem. The tentacle monsters have no possessions and don't build any cities. They tend to create homes and shelters with the available materials they find available on the ocean floor. Since the oceans of Xylem are vast and deep, you can find Tentacle monsters in almost ever corner and depth of the oceans. The deep, deep sea bottom tentacle monsters are rarely seen since they cannot survive at any depth other than the high pressures of the deep and dark sea floor.

Since sexuality is more fluid in the plant people's society, the tentacle monsters fit right into that erotic part of their worlds. Early on in the two societies evolution, there was an instant symbiotic relationship of mutual gratification. The tentacle monsters have a propensity to please and the plant people of Xylem, are more than willing to let the tentacle monsters to oblige. The planet isn't one large orgy, but in contemporary Xylem society, the plant people will keep tentacle monsters as pets for a period of time, or goto clubs for a few hours of interaction.

The tentacle monsters are quite happy as being part-time sex slaves, since they have nothing else better to do with their time. But if a tentacle monster happens to not wish to be in a club or 'owned', he or she is always free to leave, since there are millions right behind the next one to fill the void.

Pink, as a tentacle monster, is considered to be the average tentacle monster. Pink does have a name, but cannot repeat it out of the water and so just prefers to be called Pink. Since there are other Pink tentacle monsters that also call themselves Pink, that tends to cause some confusion amongst Xixa's kind, but for some reason, the other Pink tentacle monsters know exactly which Pink they are talking about. Simple minded does have it's advantages.

He is the most similar to Xixa in that he has the same playful outlook on life that she does and he always has something kind and fun to say to her when she does have those rare moments of feeling down.

Now Pink is unusual in that he has managed to have (not surprisingly) a singled cell obsession over Xixa. That wouldn't be hard in any circumstance given how charming and cute Xixa is, however, Pink's obsession has gone so far to avoid engaging in any sexual escapades with any other plant person, or tentacle monster. Pink has almost exclusively moved out of the ocean to live near or with Xixa. Since Xixa loves Pink to death, and doesn't mind his company at all, she has no problem with him living in her closet or sometimes taking a bath in her washing machine. (He's smart enough at least not to get into the drier.)

Pink has the unenviable predicament of being such best and loving friends with Xixa, that she's put him in the 'good friend' category and wont have sex with him. Being as singled cell as Pink is, he doesn't fully realize his, and continues to stay faithfully by Xixa's side, in hopes that one day she'll change her mind.
